Great Vision and Voices Initiative Partners with Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health to Advance Youth Health and Development
In a landmark move aimed at improving youth health and community development, the Great Vision and Voices Initiative (GVVI) has officially partnered with the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health. This partnership marks a significant step forward in promoting access to healthcare, youth empowerment, and sustainable health initiatives across the state.
The collaboration was formally unveiled during a courtesy visit by GVVI’s executive team to the Ministry’s headquarters in Uyo. The meeting highlighted shared goals and outlined a joint action plan focused on health education, disease prevention, mental health awareness, and support for vulnerable populations, particularly among the youth.
GVVI’s Chairman, Patroit Samuel Udoma, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to community-led development. “At GVVI, we believe that empowering young people is key to sustainable health outcomes. Through this partnership, we aim to bridge the gap in health access and ensure that youth voices are central in shaping health policies and programs,” he stated.
As part of the initial phase, GVVI and the Ministry of Health will jointly implement community outreach campaigns, capacity-building workshops for youth health volunteers, and school-based health education programs across key local government areas in Akwa Ibom State.
This partnership further underscores GVVI’s growing influence in social development and its expanding network of strategic collaborations at the state and national levels. With this alliance, GVVI is poised to play a critical role in supporting public health efforts and creating healthier futures for young Nigerians.
